Returning to the Kingdom's largest technology stage
In February 2025, Wateer came back to LEAP, one of the world's largest technology events, to show what digital receipts look like at national scale: contactless delivery, consent-first data handling, and compliance that ships with the integration rather than arriving after it.
Meetings with government leaders
Wateer presented the platform to His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Finance. The demonstrations traced how digital receipts support Saudi Arabia's digital transformation, from the checkout counter to national policy objectives.
Live on the exhibition floor
Visitors saw the full loop working end to end: a transaction at the point of sale, a digital receipt delivered to the customer in seconds, and a merchant dashboard capturing engagement in real time. Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements were handled inside the same integration, with no thermal paper anywhere in the process.
